Someone whose judgement you would trust on a live investment question, working in or on an African market.
Who qualifies
- At least ten years of professional experience
- Current, first-hand expertise in an African market or sector we cover
- Willing to complete identity, credential and conflict screening
- Able to communicate clearly with an institutional audience
What happens
- We contact the referee within one business day and explain the network
- They complete the standard application and vetting process
- You are notified when they are admitted, and when their first consultation completes

Refer a client
An institution that commissions primary research on African markets and would benefit from custom-sourced experts.
Who qualifies
- An investment, advisory, development finance or corporate research team
- Not already in an active commercial conversation with us
- Introduced with the referee's knowledge and agreement
What happens
- We contact the referee within one business day
- They submit a brief, or take an introductory call, at their own pace
- You are credited once their first consultation is completed and invoiced

We reach out within one business day, naming you as the referrer unless you ask us not to.
Verification
Experts complete vetting; client referrals are checked against existing commercial conversations.
Credit
The referral is credited once the qualifying milestone in the panel above is reached.
Programme eligibility
- Referrals must be made with the referee's knowledge.
- Self-referrals, and referrals of your own employer, do not qualify.
- A referee already in our pipeline is credited to whoever reached them first.
- We may decline a referral without giving a reason.
