Cookie Policy

What we store on your device, why, and how to control it. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Draft — pending legal review.

This document describes how Afrisapients operates today and is published in good faith. It has not yet been reviewed by external counsel, and the final version may differ. It does not constitute legal advice.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise your browser on a later request. Similar technologies — local storage and session storage — hold data in the browser in the same way. This policy covers all of them.

2. What we set

Cookies and browser storage used by Afrisapients
NameTypePurposeDuration
Authentication sessionStrictly necessaryKeeps you signed in to the portal and protects against request forgeryUntil sign-out, or 30 days
Form draft storageStrictly necessarySaves your brief or application in the browser so a refresh does not lose your workUntil submitted or cleared
Notification preferencesFunctionalRemembers interface preferences such as dismissed banners12 months

3. Analytics

We measure aggregate page views with Plausible Analytics. It is cookieless: it sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and assigns no persistent identifier, so no consent banner is required for it. We see counts of pages and referrers, never individuals.

4. Third-party cookies

We do not embed advertising, social media or profiling tags. Two providers may set their own strictly necessary cookies during a transaction you have initiated: our payment provider during checkout, and our video provider while you are in a consultation room. Each acts as controller for its own cookies under its own policy, and neither operates outside those flows.

5. Managing cookies

Because we set only strictly necessary and functional storage, there is nothing to opt out of for tracking purposes. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block the authentication cookie you will not be able to sign in to the portal, and if you block local storage your form drafts will not be saved.

6. Changes

This policy was last updated on 2026-09-01. If we introduce a new cookie or a new category, we will update the table above and, where consent is required, ask for it before setting it.
